A new interior for a brand Going Forward

We have been working with Georg Fischer to support them as they continue Going Forward. The GF Corporate Committee have been working hard to ensure that their international brand is clear, recognisable and precise (as is befitting for a Swiss precision parts manufacturer).

GF have renovated their HQ in Schaffhausen and they asked Siegelwerk to help define their new interior signage and meeting room graphics.

Connecting the diverse offices

GF has offices in over 30 countries, including: Switzerland, Germany, China, Malaysia and the USA, to name a few. The client wanted to represent this diversity in their head quarters and needed to find a common element to tie all these different locations together.

They found that water factored into many of the areas of GF’s products and from here, they landed on using the iconic rivers that run through their various regions as the names of the meeting spaces. We were tasked with creating the concept for visually incorporating each river into a stylised glass design. 

We drew from topographical inspiration and let each river flow across the glass, winding through a landscape of GF sparkles.

 

 

Less is always more

One thing that GF is always clear about - how to get to the solution as simply as possible. We held this in mind when creating their suite of signage and iconography for the office interior. Working with their brand typeface DIN, we gave the typo room to breathe and made sure to pair it with suitably clear and concise icons.
